Hi There! This is my story.

Thenjiwe Mswane is umZulu from Kwa-Zulu. She is a Phd Candidate with the SWOP Institute at Wits University; researching Zulu Masculinities: language, performance and sexual identities in South Africa, as influenced by amadoda akwaZulu. Her Master’s was a ground breaking bi-lingual, audio-ethnography that received a Cum Laude.

Thenjiwe has been teaching isiZulu for several years – CAPS, and IEB (private beginner, intermediate and advanced tutoring). She also tutors isiZulu at university. In 2017, she published an isiZulu Children’s book and assisted Melusi on his book – Melusi’s Everyday Zulu.
